Who am I?
Meet the maker.
Let’s put a face to the name. I’m Cari, a visual designer, brand storyteller,
and the resident human behind Pocketful Creative.
I didn't just wake up one day and decide to launch a freelance studio. I spent over six years working on corporate brand teams, watching how the enterprise machine handles creative work, and honestly, it drove me a little crazy. So, I built this space for creators who actually care about the craft.
Because I operate right at the intersection of wild fine arts creativity and highly organized, functional design, I don't just hand over a pretty logo and wish you luck. My services exist because of what those six years of industry experience taught me about how design actually works in the real world:
Brand Systems
My time leading campaigns for premium European brands like Maxi-Cosi and handling multi-market rollouts taught me that a brand needs to survive in the wild. I use that multi-channel knowledge to build flexible, smart frameworks and modular workflows so your brand can scale seamlessly across your website, social media, and campaigns without breaking.
Visual Identities
At Dorel Juvenile and Iridium Business Solutions, I owned global brand guidelines and internal identities , evolving everything from typography to custom iconography. I bring that enterprise-level precision to early-stage founders, crafting bespoke visual identities that look world-class but remain completely functional for you to use every day.
Tabletop Game Design
This is where my love for intricate
layouts meets pure creativity. It turns
out that managing complex brand guidelines
is the ultimate training ground for
engineering a beautifully balanced,
immersive game world.
Interactive Books
Digital spaces shouldn't feel flat. My experience bridging layout design with digital experiences allows me to design interactive books that treat digital pages like an experience. It’s about mapping out a journey that feels tactile, engaging, and impossible to skim past.
Illustration
I started with a BA in Fine Arts, and I've never lost the joy of putting pen to paper. Whether I was crafting custom visuals for digital ad campaigns or building bespoke iconography , I’ve always used crafty, concept-led illustrations to tell visual stories that generic stock imagery could never replicate.
